Heritage Christian School operates as PIECE, Incorporated, d/b/a Heritage Christian School. “PIECE” means “Parents Involved in Effective Christian Education” and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose principle office is located at 4310 Durston Road, Bozeman, Montana.

PIECE, Inc. is governed by a Board of Directors under the headship and leading of the Lord Jesus Christ through His Word and prayer. By His guidance, the Board establishes school policies and manages its general affairs. It acts as the overseer of the school mission and is its strategic decision-maker, formulating long-range policies whose fulfillment is delegated to the administration.

The Board of Directors comprises approximately seven members, each of whom may serve up to two consecutive three-year terms. The Board meets regularly on the third Tuesday of each month; meetings are open to all families, guests, and staff of Heritage Christian School. Agendas are typically posted at the school's entrances two days prior to each meeting and are included in the school's weekly newsletter. Persons who wish to place items on the agenda may do so by contacting the administrator or Board President. All requests must be submitted at least seven days prior to the meeting. Additional details on the Board's functions and policies may be obtained in the school office.
