Early Learning Center Classrooms

1. Lil' Lamb Room:

• 12 months - 2 years (approx.)
• Maximum of 8 children in room
• Ratio: 1 adult to 4 children
• Beginning toilet training for those interested

2. Busy Beaver Room:

• 2 years - 3 years (approx.)
• Maximum of 13 in room
• Ratio: approx. 1 adult to 6 children
• Toilet training emphasized

3. Koala Bear Room:

• 3 years - 4 years (approx.)
• Maximum of 15 in room
• Ratio: approx. 1 adult to 7 children
• No diaper changing facilities in this room. Children MUST be toilet trained before they move to this room.

4. Lion Room:

• 4 - 6 years (approx.)
• Maximum of 17 in room
• Ratio: approx. 1 adult to 8 children
• Kindergarten-readiness program. Emphasis on letter and number each week.
• This classroom is also used for opposite kindergarten care, when we have space available. The curriculum is a good review for the kindergarten children.

5. Preschool Eagles

• 3 hour time segments (8:30 - 11:30 or 12:00 - 3:00)
• 3 - 4 year class on Tuesday and Thursday
• Ratio for 3-year-old class: 1 adult to 7 children. Maximum number of 14.
• 4 -5 year old class on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
• Ratio for 4-year-old class: 1 adult to 8 children. Maximum of 15 children.
• Follows HCS calendar. Closed on PIR and Early Release days and surrounding holidays. Not open in summer.
• Kindergarten-readiness program for four year olds.

6. After school Eagles (K - 5)

• Ages Kindergarten - 5th grade
• Maximum number of 17 children
• Ratio: 1 adult to 9 children (approx.)
• Relaxing fun atmosphere for after school
• During Summer Day Camp-if demand for program is high, class may be divided into K-1 and 2nd - 5th graders (called the Tigers).
