Standardized Testing

HCS students in grades K-11 complete the Stanford Achieve Test every spring.  SAT test results provide helpful information for teachers and parents when assessing student academic growth as well as improvements that can be made in instruction and curriculum.

HCS student SAT scores typically rank in the upper 1/3 of other ACSI schools.  In 2010, HCS students scored in the top 19% of other American students (from both private and public schools) who took the SAT.  Also in 2010, the HCS 10th grade students' combined reading score was in the top 7% of the nation.
