Mrs. Cox was born and raised in Traverse City, Michigan.  She attended Moody Bible Institute where she majored in Theology and World missions and minored in Education.  Tanya worked with inner city children for 4 years while in Chicago.  Tanya then lived in Uganda, Africa for a year and a half and taught Bible in public schools.  She taught elementary and high school students. Tanya returned to the United States and studied Biblical counseling at the Master's college in Southern California.  Tanya was then married and five months later, her husband, Jared, and her moved to Costa Rica for language school. After a year in Costa Rica, they lived in Nicaragua for 15 years, church planting. While in Nicaragua, Tanya taught many children and started the children's ministry at Petra Bible Church.  Jared, Tanya and their four children then moved to Bozeman to start a bilingual church. Since living in Bozeman, Tanya has taught Spanish in the Public schools, substitute taught and been very involved in teaching Children's church and training teachers. Tanya and her family enjoy serving the Lord and His church, backpacking, traveling, and working out.
