Mrs. Angela Montanye attended Concordia University-Portland and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary/Early Childhood Education in 2008. She has experience teaching Kindergarten and 6th Grade, and also has Montessori preschool experience. She has nannied and worked at a residential treatment center helping children with neurological and developmental disorders. Angela briefly taught English as a second language in Nicaragua on a mission trip, and has also attended missions in Juarez, Mexico and Seattle. Most recently, Angela was a Software Engineer after attending Hack Reactor and Montana Code School. After taking some time off professionally to be a full-time mom, she’s joining the team at Heritage to teach Second Grade. Angela loves to learn about nutrition and be active--specifically doing CrossFit, yoga, and running. She loves spending time in the mountains with her husband, Josh, daughter, Millie, and their round French bulldog, Jack.
